Time for Adventure

Challenge your students!

Students learn just as much outside of the classroom as they do inside of it. They often don’t have the chance to challenge themselves and in the age of smartphones and on demand services, the times where one can truly have an adventure are diminishing fast!

We wish to fix that! With Adventure Paradise Nepal, students get the chance to have a true adventure in the Himalayas, learn about themselves and challenge their selves physically and mentally. We have a track record of providing excellent trips for schools and universities.

An adventure in the Himalayas will give students confidence, teamwork skills and a drive to achieve what they may not thought was possible. These skills are highly transferrable to their academic work and can also be brought through to the rest of their professional lives.

Experience Culture

Different world views and ways of life!

Travel enriches the soul. Meeting different people and experiencing different cultures can have a massive impact on your own views. As part of a trip to Nepal, we interact with locals, getting involved in a community project. Although our time is short, from feedback this is most rewarding part of the trip.

Our excellent links with a community of Gurung villages set in the foothills of Himalayas lets students experience traditional village life. The area is completely untouched by tourism and the population lead basic lifestyles. The infrastructure isn’t great and there is plenty of opportunities to help.

As part of a school trip to Nepal, we like to get the students involved in a community project. This can be anything from helping to build a water tap, toilet or water tank to helping out in the schools and seeing how others learn. It is an enriching experience and one which is greatly beneficial both to the local population and the students.

Learn New Skills

Professional and Academic Confidence!

Learning new skills and things about yourself is something that we really try and help students with. This trip will challenge them to think about what they want to achieve, both physically and mentally and give them real skills to take back to their normal lives.

The adventure element of the trip will teach them about not giving up and give them an enormous sense of accomplishment when complete. They will also do this as part of a team. Teamwork is a skill which is often overlooked but massively important and valuable in the real world.

Of course our trips are highly customizable and we can build one specifically for your needs. We have been working with schools from the UK for the past 5 years and everyone has thoroughly enjoyed our offering. We’d love to be able to welcome you to Nepal soon!

Opportunities for School Trips to Nepal

Culture, society, politics, Nepal has it all!

Nepal is a great country to visit for a school trip. You are in a country with massive mountains and a lot of it is still under developed. It is developing fast though, 24 hour electricity has just become possible in 2017! A lot of the population live in villages in the foothills of the Himalayas and get by with farming.

It can be a paradise to come and spend some time and valuable to the students. The population still perform ceremonies and rituals which they have done for thousands of years. Different castes and ethnic groups make up this wonderful country and the population is very practical at building and making things work with what they have.

Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. Many people go overseas to work for a few years at a time. Popular destinations include Malaysia, the Middle East and Hong Kong. Nepal also has a tradition of providing soldiers for the British and Indian Gurkha regiments and officers for the Singapore police force.

It is a fascinating way of life and if you are looking to get stuck in, we’d love to hear from you. We have been working with schools and universities over the past few years and had successful repeat trips. Our goal is to make it a success for the students to learn about a new culture and see our magnificent country and can tailor a trip to your needs. If you are interested in discussing the opportunities further, just get in touch!
