Trek Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal, offering stunning views of the Annapurna range and an immersive experience in the local culture. This trek takes you through diverse landscapes, from lush subtropical forests to high-altitude glacial basins.

The trail passes through traditional Gurung villages, terraced farmlands, rhododendron forests, and finally reaches the amphitheater of the Annapurna sanctuary, surrounded by towering peaks including Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South, Machapuchare, and Hiunchuli.

Trek Itinerary

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Evening welcome dinner and trek briefing.

Drive to Pokhara (820m)

Scenic 6-7 hour drive to Pokhara. Evening free to explore Lakeside area.

Trek to Ghandruk (1,940m)

Drive to Nayapul and begin trek. Moderate hike through villages and terraced fields.

Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)

Uphill trek with stunning views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Trek to Himalaya Hotel (2,920m)

Steep descent followed by climb through bamboo and rhododendron forests.
